With the whole of the college being redeveloped over a five phased programme the demolition works were phased to align with the redevelopment works. The college remained open and works carried out in term time required tight programming to minimise impact on the college.
Access into the works areas and cart away off site had to be timed around college drop off times, break times and collection times to avoid any risks with student activities.
This project required precise controlled demolition and sorting of material to be carted off site.
